"Greer" is not just my birth name. It also happens to be a small, quintessential Southern town tucked into the northwest corner of South Carolina. A town with a perfect city center, holding onto its nostalgia and charm while embracing community. There are a few different versions out there of how I came to be named
Greer Peaches Fredericks… My brother Mark may have an entirely different tale than I do—but that's a debate best saved for the fire pit and a few cold beers.

As for our food? It's fabulously fresh, lovingly prepared, and sourced from both local farms and the South we hold dear. You'll find all your Southern favorites—shrimp & grits, award-winning fried chicken, and more.
And of course, there's that Southern hospitality. When we pull out your chair, hold a door, or offer a heartfelt "please" and "thank you," just chalk it up to our firm belief in good ol' Southern manners.

Whether you're here to experience a memorable meal among friends or sip a cocktail or two from our more-than-magnificent bar—we're here for you.

Jess Hopkins - Private Dining & Catering

Jess brings both heart and hustle to Greer Southern Table. An art school graduate with an eye for detail and a flair for hospitality, Jess oversees our private events with care, creativity, and calm.
She lives in Norwalk, CT with her husband, their two daughters, and two mischievous cats. Whether she’s designing a dreamy tablescape or managing a packed dining room, Jess makes every guest feel like part of the family—always with a warm smile and a can-do attitude.

Alex Ruiz - Dining Room Manager / Hospitality
Our Dining Room Manager Alex, has been with our company on and off for 15 years. We consider him family! With his infectious smile and upbeat personality, you too will soon fall in love with Alex! His love for the hospitality industry is evident when he is on the floor at Greer Southern Table and no request is too demanding!

Juan brings consistency, leadership, and a calm confidence to Greer Southern Table. As Bar Manager and Floor Manager, he oversees daily service with a sharp eye for detail and a deep respect for hospitality. From crafting classic cocktails to keeping the dining room running smoothly, Juan leads by example and sets the standard for thoughtful, polished service. His steady presence and commitment to doing things right make him an essential part of our team.

Anthony Rodriguez-
Kitchen Manager
Anthony is the kind of leader every kitchen needs.

As our Kitchen Manager, he sets the tone—focused, steady, and serious about doing things the right way. He keeps the team dialed in and makes sure every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects our standards.

Outside the kitchen, he’s just as driven—he loves horses, stays committed to working out, and is building toward a bigger vision: his own farm in Colombia.

That same discipline and pride he carries in life shows up in our kitchen every day—and we’re better because of it.
